The Hunt For Homes Story

Jessica Hunt, founder of Hunt for Homes Real Estate Sales & Service, gained her love for the state of North Carolina when she moved locally in 1989 after completing her education in her hometown of Philadelphia. She fell in love with the plethora of amenities offered in the state, such as the flourishing piedmont, beautiful coast, and rich mountain experience, beginning to feel like a true North Carolina native. In 2005, she earned her real estate license, entering the ever-changing North Carolina Real Estate market which quickly became her passion.

 

Because Jessica has worked with both large franchise and independent real estate agencies, such as Linda Craft and Team, Remax, Coldwell Banker HPW, and Smart Choice Realty, she has been able to gain an appreciation for personal, outstanding service to her clients. Since 2005, Jessica has worked every angle of the real estate industry, including listing, contract to close, working with buyers and sellers, and transaction coordinating. She has closed over 450 transactions, thanks to her vast knowledge of the local market, negotiating skills, and many other qualities that make her clients’ home buying and selling experiences feel seamless.

Meet Ann Rodriguez

Originally from Pennsylvania, Ann made the decision to move south 10 years ago. It didn’t take long before Ann fell in love with the lifestyle the Triangle has to offer. Ann’s passion is to help others who also want to call North Carolina home. She believes that real estate is about developing strong, trusting relationships and always makes her client’s interests a top priority.  Prior to her career in real estate, Ann worked for the North Carolina school system as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher for 6 years. The knowledge Ann has of the North Carolina school system is an advantage to her clients and helps them make key decisions during the home-buying process.  Ann also worked as an immigration paralegal for a private law firm in Raleigh and has a deep understanding and respect for the law. Ann is married and has two energetic boys who adore her. She has a tangible love for life and pours herself into everything she does.

Hunt for Homes offers Full Service and only charges 1% of the purchase price to sellers, listing their home plus the buyer agent commission, typically 2.4% which equals 3.4% total commission paid by the seller as opposed to 6% total commission (3.6% to listing agent plus 2.4% to buyers agent) that other Brokerage Firms charge. Here are a few examples:

At a sales price of $250,000:

With Hunt for Homes, you pay – $8500

With other real estate firms, you’ll pay – $15,000

Total savings using Hunt for Homes to list your home is $6,500 and you sacrifice NOTHING in service!

At a sales price of $500,000:

With Hunt for Homes, you pay – $17,000

With other real estate firms, you’ll pay – $30,000.00

Total savings using Hunt for Homes to list your home is $13,000 and you sacrifice NOTHING in service!

*$500 is due at the time of listing and will be credited to the 1% balance due at closing. This is because all of the listing work done by Hunt for Home agents is done upfront, including photography and virtual tours, professional sign installation, and various methods of advertising including flyers and MLS admission.
