At Hunt for Homes, we’re here to be your guide, first and foremost.


Whether you work directly with me or a member of my team, everything we do is about making you feel comfortable with the process and confident that you’re being taken care of in every way. You’re going to live in so many homes throughout your life, so this isn’t about one sale or one listing. We see this is about building a relationship where we take excellent care of you before, during, and after you have real estate needs.


Like you, I once was a new buyer, and a new seller, and even a new broker in the world of real estate. So I understand what you’re facing and how you’re feeling. More than 13 years ago, I jumped into this career as a single mom. I was a psychology major, so my background was in people – not real estate. So it was an outside the box choice for me – one that challenged me at every turn.


Step after step – I passed my first class, and then the state exam, both on the first try. I went on to build a successful career across several NC triangle real estate firms including large franchise and independent agencies, such as Linda Craft and Team, Remax, Coldwell Banker HPW, and Smart Choice Realty.


After developing a decade of expertise across marketing, negotiation, and more, I founded Hunt for Homes in 2016 as a more personal kind of realty practice. Your dream for your home is our passion. Whether it’s our 1% listings or our team mandate to put your interests above our bottom lines, we are committed to you and your needs for the long haul.


Across my career, I’ve closed more than 700+ transactions, but that’s not what defines success to me. What matters most to me is you and all the first-time home buyers, the couples relocating, and the families finding their forever homes. It’s about all the people who still come by and say “hi” and the relationships I get to build and grow along the way.


I’ve created a small firm to protect those relationships and to continue to be a proudly referral-driven company. Because it’s time that more brokers understand that it’s not about numbers – it’s about people. It’s about family and it’s about new chapters.

Meet Kristen 

Kristen grew up on Long Island, NY.  She has a background in business as an Executive Assistant at Tambrands, Inc. and SportsChannel America.  She also spent 12 years as the owner and operator of Home Away From Home Daycare. Home represented a place of comfort and security, not only for her and her family, but also for those who entrusted her with their children.  She and her family moved to North Carolina in 2006.  She and her husband received their real estate licenses and became brokers in 2016.  Working together for their clients and using the skills they have developed through their backgrounds, they each offer their own unique strengths to provide excellent service while striving with trustworthiness to help their clients sell/find their homes and help them with all of their real estate needs.

Meet Charlie

Born and raised in Oyster Bay, NY, Charles has a background in law enforcement with NYPD. After a 20-year career as a police officer, he and his family made North Carolina their new home.  His background, which required strong communication skills, close attention to details, and providing a sense of security and trust is just as important when applying it to real estate.   Informing buyers and sellers of current market trends, helping clients maximize their profit, and achieve their goals is his priority.  He is also a professional photographer specializing in real estate photography/videography and is an FAA Certified Remote Pilot offering aerial photography/videography as well.

Meet Saige

Born and raised in North Carolina, Saige is proud to call the Triangle her home. With extensive experience in customer service, quality service is put at the forefront of each and every interaction with customers, clients, and colleagues alike. After being immersed in real estate since childhood, she received her North Carolina Broker’s License at age 19. She has been overseeing real estate transactions since 2016, and has also gained valuable experience in both residential sales and property management, offering a knowledgeable and fresh take on an ever-changing real estate market.

Meet Angie

Angie was raised in a military family and move around the world as a child. Her family settled in Raleigh in 1995 and she has happily been rooted in Wake County since. Licensed in 2007, she has brokered hundreds of transactions and has shown thousands of properties. Angie has a lot of project management experience, which influences her management of her clients and their transactions. She makes the process educational and keeps it streamlined. She is an experienced house flipper and investor/landlord. She even has a tiny house in her backyard! When she is not practicing real estate brokerage, she enjoys performing with her band, 11 Echoes.

How does Hunt for Homes

save our clients so much money?


Hunt for Homes offers Full Service and only charges 2% of the purchase price to sellers, listing their home plus the buyer agent commission, typically 2.4% which equals 4.4% total commission paid by the seller as opposed to 6% total commission (3.6% to listing agent plus 2.4% to buyers agent) that other Brokerage Firms charge. Here are a few examples:

At a sales price of $250,000:

With Hunt for Homes, you pay – $11,000

With other real estate firms, you’ll pay – $15,000

Total savings using Hunt for Homes to list your home is $4,000 and you sacrifice NOTHING in service!

At a sales price of $500,000:

With Hunt for Homes, you pay – $22,000

With other real estate firms, you’ll pay – $30,000.00

Total savings using Hunt for Homes to list your home is $8,000 and you sacrifice NOTHING in service!

*$500 is due at the time of listing and will be credited to the 2% balance due at closing. This is because all of the listing work done by Hunt for Home agents is done upfront, including photography and virtual tours, professional sign installation, and various methods of advertising including flyers and MLS admission.
