I’ve been in a networking group with Jessica for the past 3 years. Maybe it was our love for pink that bonded us or her love for the industry and what she does but we could not have asked for a better selling experience. We all know a bunch of realtors, but do you really know them. Can they get it done, so they have a truck you can use to move your house? Yes and yes with this team! Jessica and Saige sold our house in 3 days. We talked to multiple agents and found that what they had to offer exceeded our expectations. Putting a coming soon sign out, putting a boom of pictures together for us, putting the yard sign out. They walked us through every step of the process, came and took pictures, hosted open houses, were in touch with us all the time, kept us in the loop of who was coming and going from our house. Jessica Hunt is an experienced real estate professional and exhibited an exceptional ability to meet our needs during the sale of a home and purchase of a new one. Jessica was detail-oriented during all phases of buying and selling; knowledgeable about the local real estate market as it pertained to the property we were selling and buying (regional, county, city, subdivision); strategic in her approach to list, market, and close; and persistent in meeting our expectations during the offer and negotiation processes. Jessica collaborated with all parties to ensure the best outcome for us, which included the buyers and sellers agents and the service providers hired for repairs. Jessica has a broad network of contacts from home improvement/repair service providers (flooring, counter tops, small home repair, moisture issues, and so on) to termite inspectors, mortgage brokers, insurance providers, home security, and home staging services. We cannot overstate the incredible work Jessica performed on our behalf. She is an incredible communicator whether by text, email, phone, or face to face meetings. Jessica meets commitments, responds timely and monitors all open issues to resolution. In our situation, she was instrumental in negotiating reasonable home repairs at both properties and worked right up through closing when she identified an inconsistent reading on the thermostat (HVAC) on our final walk through of the home we were purchasing and ensured it was repaired at seller expense. If you do not have an agent, call Jessica immediately or refer her to someone you know. She is an outstanding real estate professional and provided us with guidance every step of the way. In addition, her listing fee is simply unbeatable based on the level of service she provides.
You would have thought I was buying a million dollar home with as much time and effort that Jessica put into the process. I live two hours away from her office, right outside of Wilmington and she arrived at every appointment before I got there. She was always quick to answer texted questions and when she didn't know the answer immediately she jumped on it until the question had been resolved. She knows the industry well which can mean the biggest difference in the world when evaluating the types of value any house you look at might have. It's one thing to make a house your home, but it is a pretty big bonus if that home also goes up in value by 10% over a five year period. No one can 100% predict a market's future with certainty, but Jessica spoke about the state of the present market and where the trends were leading and it helps a great deal having an expert in the local area who can guide you while you make one of the biggest decisions in your life.
From beginning to end, Jessica was absolutely amazing. My wife and I cannot say enough great things about Hunt for Homes. This was the first time we were selling a house, and there were a lot of things throughout the process that we were quite frankly ignorant and oblivious to, but Jessica explained everything thoroughly to us. My wife and I were so caught up on the other side with purchasing our new home that there were times where we forgot we were even selling a home. Jessica would update us regularly on what was going and if there was anything that we needed to take care of, she let us know with ample time. My wife and I used Jessica Hunt to help us get our very first home. Being first time home buyers we didn’t know what to expect or the ins & out of the process. Jessica was very Knowledgeable and help us understand the process from beginning, middle and end. We purchased a new build 5 bedroom house and she negotiated for the price to be exactly at the price we wanted and for the builder not only too pay closing cost, but also to pay off our leasing contract in our apartment complex, give us brand new S.S appliances, automatic garage opener and even fancy wood blinds for every window the house has. We not only were blown away by her skills but also by her customer service. She was always very prompt and always responded to our text or calls, I remember she was on a weekend getaway being that we were in the holiday season while in the process and I had a question I really needed an answer to so I text her not expecting a response, but immediately she called me and spoke with me for a good 20-30 minutes. Never did I felt rushed or like I was a bother. We knew we had a great Realtor. She told us that every client she helps starts off as clients and ends up as friends and We can’t agree more!! Hands down the BEST experience we could have had with any realtor. Back in March, Kristen and her husband, Charlie, came to the rescue when my husband and I were trying to sell our home near downtown Raleigh. This home has been in my husband’s family for 3 generations so it was definitely a special home. We had originally gone through Zillow to find a sellers agent. They paired us up with a realtor who was - for lack of better term - a complete nightmare. As first time home buyers/sellers we had NO clue what we were doing and expected, at the very minimum, decent communication as to what was happening during the process. Our home sat on the market for a few weeks with little to no activity and we were getting extremely frustrated with the lack of any communication or marketing effort. They even used MY photos that I had taken with my iPhone for the listing photos. So ridiculous. We had eventually reached a breaking point and asked to be released from our contract. We had been given Kristen’s contact info from my sister and brother in law who had used Kristen and Charlie to sell and purchase their new home recently. We decided to give it a try since we had another home lined up we were hoping to secure so time was of the essence. We called Kristen at 7:00pm on a Tuesday night and all of our fears instantly subsided. She made us feel completely at ease and let us know that she would try her absolute best to get our home sold as quickly as possible. Kristen and Charlie came out to our house the very next day at 10am to start taking photos/videos and get us up and running on MLS again! And can we just talk about how AMAZING the photos and video turned out! Kudos to Charlie for an amazing job with helping us represent our home beautifully! The craziest part of this whole thing is that Covid hit right as we were getting back into the market and Kristen STILL managed to sell our home within a couple weeks of being on the market! In the middle of a pandemic! Her dedication to social media, marketing, word of mouth, open houses - there is nothing she won’t do to help you sell your home quickly and efficiently. It's hard to find the words that capture everything that Kristen and Charlie did through the buying process. Kristen went above and beyond what a "realtor" may typically do. She cared and it showed. Everything that the Edmunds did was done with respect and integrity.
We retained Kristen after parting ways with another realtor who had our home listed for 3 months with very little traffic. Kristen helped bring our home to life virtually and we received an offer within 8 days from a buyer who hadn't even stepped foot into the house when they made an initial offer. Jessica was detail-oriented during all phases of buying and selling; knowledgeable about the local real estate market as it pertained to the property we were selling and buying (regional, county, city, subdivision); strategic in her approach to list, market, and close; and persistent in meeting our expectations during the offer and negotiation processes Jessica collaborated with all parties to ensure the best outcome for us, which included the buyers and sellers agents and the service providers hired for repairs. Jessica has a broad network of contacts from home improvement/repair service providers (flooring, counter tops, small home repair, moisture issues, and so on) to termite inspectors, mortgage brokers, insurance providers, home security, and home staging services. We cannot overstate the incredible work Jessica performed on our behalf. She is an incredible communicator whether by text, email, phone, or face to face meetings. Jessica meets commitments, responds timely and monitors all open issues to resolution. In our situation, she was instrumental in negotiating reasonable home repairs at both properties and worked right up through closing when she identified an inconsistent reading on the thermostat (HVAC) on our final walk through of the home we were purchasing and ensured it was repaired at seller expense. We were originally working with another realtor until my friend recommended Jess to us. My friend is never wrong with her recommendations, so we went with it. Jess knew that we were on a mission to find a house QUICK due to our lease running out soon. Within 1 day notice, Jess squeezed us into her weekend to look at house. She quickly got the disclosures and everything needed. When we met at the home, I just fell in love! I decided to make an offer on it that second. She made quick moves to get us pre-approved for the loan and linked us up with Sherry from North State bank. Sherry got us a pre-approval letter within 1hr and Jess made the offer. After some negotiations, the owners accepted our offer by the next day! Jess walked us through all the next steps. This all happened so quickly, but she was always SO prepared. It’s crazy to think how many things she is probably juggling at one time.. but you can’t tell because she is always so on point and focuses on you. Without her recommending Sherry, we would be paying hundreds more per month in mortgage payment BTW!! At the closing they gave us a goodie bag and a personalized sign for our new home! I can’t believe how QUICK, EASY, PAINLESS this whole process has been! Jess has a LOT of local connections by the way and helps you find great deals with local reputable companies. I’ve been in a networking group with Jessica for the past 3 years. Maybe it was our love for pink that bonded us or her love for the industry and what she does but we could not have asked for a better selling experience. We all know a bunch of realtors, but do you really know them. Can they get it done, so they have a truck you can use to move your house? Yes and yes with this team! Jessica and Saige sold our house in 3 days. We talked to multiple agents and found that what they had to offer exceeded our expectations. Putting a coming soon sign out, putting a boom of pictures together for us, putting the yard sign out. You would have thought I was buying a million dollar home with as much time and effort that Jessica put into the process. I live two hours away from her office, right outside of Wilmington and she arrived at every appointment before I got there. She was always quick to answer texted questions and when she didn't know the answer immediately she jumped on it until the question had been resolved. She knows the industry well which can mean the biggest difference in the world when evaluating the types of value any house you look at might have. It's one thing to make a house your home, but it is a pretty big bonus if that home also goes up in value by 10% over a five year period. No one can 100% predict a market's future with certainty, but Jessica spoke about the state of the present market and where the trends were leading and it helps a great deal having an expert in the local area who can guide you while you make one of the biggest decisions in your life.
